Limbs Alive honoured at UK Innovation Awards

Limbs Alive was one of just 15 companies short-listed for the Medilink UK awards 2011 – an annual event that celebrates the latest technologies, outstanding business achievements and international success across the UK Life Sciences sector. There were five categories with three companies nominated for each award. The prestigious black tie event was held at the Crown Plaza hotel in London Docklands on Tuesday 8 March and recognised the achievements of innovative Life Sciences companies from around the country and the cutting edge technologies they produce.

Tony Davis, Medilink UK Chairman, said: “Winning a Medilink UK Award is a huge professional honour and these companies are the ones that will help the UK economy thrive once again, pioneering new technologies that can meet the healthcare needs of our society in the future.”

Speaking at the event were doctor and comedian Phil Hammond, and ABHI chairman Gary Stapleton.
